Go Fund Hunter
Although Hunter is now able to enjoy a slice of the life he once knew, his battle is far from over. Hunter’s heart pump (LVAD) places many restrictions on his young life. Hunter must be either plugged into a outlet or run on a battery pack to keep his blood pumping and to keep him alive. He has come a long way in terms of mobility but still struggles with day to day tasks due to his condition.
Along with weekly visits from hospital staff, Hunter and family must make frequent trips to Tufts Medical Center in Boston for continued monitoring and procedures. This renders him unable to work and thus, unable to support himself to a level that gives him independence and allows him to make his own choices. Simple items like clothes, gas, food and monthly expenses make him reliant on family and friends. We are looking to help Hunter be as independent as possible and do the things things someone his age would be doing, learning to become an independent adult.
The Trust of Hunter William Jatko Supplemental Needs was created to ensure that your generosity will be used responsibly and for what it was intended, for many years to come, until Hunter can receive a transplant for his heart. All 5k donations will be directly put into Hunter’s Trust, thank you for your consideration!
Why we need your help.
